The Emde Gallery is pleased to present "Kinships – Diving into the In-Between", an exhibition by the artist Soomee Yu.
Soomee Yu's works move between drawing, printmaking and textile works. Within her visual worlds, human, animal and plant forms encounter one another, connecting to create multilayered kinships, complex networks and open narratives.
The exhibition was created as part of the project seminar "Inside the Gallery" at the Department of Art History, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and was developed and curated by students in collaboration with the Emde Gallery.
