"The invisible world is a fundamental challenge for me. Contemporary art does not consist solely of portraits, still lifes, landscapes with nature, people, plants or animals. Everything we experience in our surroundings, as well as things that do not exist, becomes a source of inspiration. Points, lines and planes are my basic means of expressing human emotions, systematic exchange and even human relationships. Drawing, which is rooted in the power of imagination, combines the colours white, black and grey. In each work, I observe a small world through detailed line drawings and printmaking. The symbols that appear in my works – plants and animals such as potatoes, tomatoes, birds and crocodiles – serve as multiple metaphors for human society. The works are interpretations of reality, much like fairy tales or ghost stories".
